Cut & Paste and the iPhone: A Bigger Deal than I Thought

As I grow more enamored with the phone and its e-mail application (though I am still ticked I can't rotate e-mail into 'landscape mode' to get a wider virtual keyboard) the lack of cut and paste functionality is actually an issue. I wind up not replying to certain e-mail via the iPhone because of this lack of functionality, opting instead to reply when I'm back in front of my desktop. Apple will certainly need to add this functionality.
