iPhone's camera

here are some shots taken from the iPhone. I am no photographer but there are a couple of design issues with the iphone as a camera. In "portrait" mode, the touch screen button you push to take the picture is directly above the non-virtual (it's a real button) "home" button. Many people will push this and have a "doh!" moment, I know I had one. Because of the way it works when you hold the camera, taking a picture by pressing virtual button -- I didn't find it particularly easy to stabilize the camera AND push the button to take the picture.

Future versions of the phone have opportunities for more buttons (which would serve well for the iPod functionality too, more on that another day). Click the pictures for full images and there are several more if you click "read more".
